The 2026 Ad 2 SoCal 32 Under 32 cohort represents the full spectrum of what modern creative talent looks like, across disciplines, backgrounds, and career paths. From award-winning art directors and brand strategists to community organizers, educators, and founders, this year's class brings together 32 individuals who are not only excelling in their fields but actively investing in the people and communities around them.


This year, we're also proud to introduce the inaugural Ad 2 SoCal Community Impact Award, recognizing a three members of the cohort whose work extends beyond professional achievement to create meaningful, measurable change within the creative industry and beyond. Alexis Fernandez

Digital Marketer at Warner Bros. Discovery

    Alexis Fernandez is a senior at Mount Saint Mary’s University in Los Angeles, graduating in May with a degree in business administration and psychology. In summer 2025, she was selected to participate in the Harvard Business School Summer Venture in Management Program, where she strengthened her leadership and strategic thinking skills through an immersive, highly selective program.


    Alexis brings experience across entertainment marketing, publicity, and creator partnerships through internships with leading media & entertainment organizations. She most recently served as a Theatrical Digital Marketing Intern at Warner Bros. Discovery, supporting influencer strategy, campaign ideation, and trend analysis for major film releases. Previously, she worked in publicity and talent relations at FOX Entertainment and contributed to awards campaigns and event strategy at AMC Networks. She also gained experience in influencer marketing at Wasserman.


    Passionate about storytelling and culture-driven marketing, Alexis is excited to begin her career in entertainment and brand marketing following graduation.

Outside of her role as an Art Director, you find Caitlin teaching, mentoring, and meeting with students as a Teaching Assistant with book180, m.school Mentor at Loyola Marymount University, and Alumni Mentor with the University of Virginia School of Architecture and VCU Brandcenter. There she advises students on breaking into the industry through creative development, portfolio reviews, and resume building. Before moving to LA, Caitlin attended the University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University where she received a Bachelors in Architecture and a Masters in Business with a concentration in Branding and Art Direction respectively.

His agency work includes supporting a $1.2 million annual social account for Synchrony, where he contributes across concepting, production, and editing — developing social-first campaigns at scale while maintaining a high creative standard. Recognized with multiple professional ADDY Awards for editing and cinematography, he also played a key role in the National Student Advertising Competition as Production Director, helping lead his team to a top-three national finish. Through his board leadership at Ad 2 SoCal, he actively promotes initiatives like 32 Under 32 and invests in creating visibility and opportunity for emerging talent in the advertising industry.

In Los Angeles, she organized and produced the DZN Summit — an Adobe-sponsored event bringing together creatives, panelists, and community members for dialogue and connection — and has spoken at AIGA Los Angeles's Graphic Content conference. Her upcoming internship with Creative Artists Agency marks the next step in a career defined by initiative, creativity, and community.

Her standout work includes BEHR's viral "It's Alive" series—generating 50M+ organic views—and a creator-powered reality series that drove 187M impressions and featured in Fast Company, People, WWD, and PR Week.     Beyond execution, Irina operates as a creative strategist who blends social-first thinking with disruptive creativity. She challenges traditional agency approaches, treating social as core creative output rather than an afterthought, and helps brands unlock relevance through genuine cultural insight while turning ideas into movements.

    Through her role, she hopes to create content that captivates fans and showcases the diversity of Los Angeles’ neighborhoods and its rich Olympic history as the Games return in 2028.

As an adjunct professor, mentor for the Adobe Creative Apprenticeship Program, and portfolio reviewer for Adobe, Chapman University, CSULB, AIGA, and the BRIC Foundation, he has directly supported more than 500 students in navigating the transition from education to industry. Yuji Shiraiwa

    A multidisciplinary designer specializing in UI, motion, and visual systems, Yuji brings clarity, structure, and intentionality to everything he makes. Andrew Almendras

    Andrew Almendras is a strategic leader and community builder known for transforming brands, scaling organizations, and unlocking growth at the intersection of creativity, data, and culture.


    He began his career on the agency side, where he built and led a diverse portfolio of brands including Live Nation, KeVita, Guy Fieri, and Simmons Bedding—helping drive 15x agency revenue growth through integrated, insight-driven creative marketing.


    In 2016, Andrew transitioned in-house to IMAX, where he has played a pivotal role in modernizing the company’s global marketing capabilities. He rebuilt the in-house creative organization into an award-winning, full-service engine establishing best-in-class creative, operations, production, and project management functions. Under his leadership, the team was recognized as Creativepool’s “Brand Team of the Year” in 2019 following the launch of IMAX’s first-ever global brand campaign.


    As Vice President of Marketing Strategy & Planning, Andrew leads a newly established discipline responsible for marketing investment and market share performance measurement across IMAX’s Hollywood film slate. His team sits at the core of the marketing business—connecting data, insights, and cross-functional teams to inform investment decisions, optimize performance, and shape go-to-market strategy at scale.


    Beyond his corporate leadership, Andrew is deeply committed to advancing the marketing industry and mentoring the next generation of talent. He is a 2026 inaugural Gold Compass Mentor for Gold House, served as a 2025 Clio Awards juror, and was named a finalist for the American Advertising Federation’s Hall of Achievement. He also serves on the Advisory Council for the AAF LA Chapter and has been a mentor with Catholic Big Brothers Big Sisters since 2012.

Cenon Advincula

    Cenon Advincula is an award-winning Executive Creative Director. For more than two decades, he has created integrated campaigns for iconic brands like Jaguar, Dodgers, McDonald's, and Lexus, for whom he’s worked on two Super Bowl campaigns. Cenon is a board member of the Stanford University Pride Board and a speaker at South By Southwest.

Raul Rios

VP, Brand Strategy: Partnerships, Experiential & Culture, 160over90

  • Meet Raul

    Raul Rios is a brand and cultural strategist with more than 15 years of experience at the intersection of culture, entertainment, and marketing. He recently joined 160over90, a Publicis-owned cultural marketing agency, as VP, Brand Strategy: Partnerships, Experiential & Culture, where he leads strategy across a portfolio of marquee clients including Rocket Mortgage, Wells Fargo, USAA, and Audi.


    Before 160over90, Raul spent over a decade at Walton Isaacson as SVP Strategy, leading brand and cultural work for McDonald's, American Airlines, and Lexus, including landmark partnerships with the Black Panther franchise and Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour. He later served as Head of Strategy at Saylor, an Ad Age Small Agency of the Year and one of the fastest-growing creative agencies in the country, where he led entertainment-driven brand strategy for Netflix, Disney, Prime Video, and Apple.


    Raul holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he remains deeply connected to the alumni community. He currently co-chairs the 2026 Stanford Latino Alumni Summit and serves on the board of Stanford Pride, the university's LGBTQ+ alumni network. He serves as the incoming Board President of AAF Los Angeles, and sits on the board of AIDS Project Los Angeles, reflecting his commitment to community, equity, and service.


    His work spans brand strategy, multicultural marketing, and cultural partnerships, with a consistent focus on how brands earn relevance in communities that matter.
